C2- Compliance Issues in a 401(k) Plan

Efficient and effective administration of an employee benefit plan often requires coordination among multiple parties. One such party is the Third Party Administrator (TPA), who is often tasked with multiple compliance responsibilities. This session focuses on the TPA’s responsibilities in plan compliance, such as ensuring timely deposits, assisting with contribution calculations and limits, eligibility determinations and distribution processing, as well as providing a brief review of non-discrimination requirements, testing, and the impact of safe-harbor plan designs.
