A- The Arts are a Community Asset - 2015 Nonprofit Conference

The Woodruff Arts Center is the third largest arts center in the country, and plays host to more than 1.2 million people each year, including 300,000 students. While other community assets – from parks and green space to professional sports teams – receive millions of dollars in taxpayer funds every year, the arts do not. This presentation will provide the latest information on the impact of the arts in Georgia and offer thoughts on how nonprofit arts organizations can work together to make their case as important community assets.
